We are seeking an experienced Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist (CRO) to join our marketing team. As a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, testing and implementing conversion points in the marketing funnel. You will work directly with paid traffic, marketing, creative, and data science teams to drive success and scale the business. You would be responsible for optimizing lead generation and conversion strategy. This position is a bit of a Jack-of-all-Trades position, with a method to the madness.
There are a number of skills, abilities and personality traits that makeup the ideal candidate. This is a position for a polymath, an optimizer that is not only multi-disciplinary, but also a non-stop learner. You will need to be comfortable with copywriting, data, analytics and testing. We are looking for someone who can combine processes with flexibility, data with wise iteration, and curiosity with perseverance.
We believe setting up successful tests require getting into the minds of your target audience, which takes research, analysis and people skills. Empathy + curiosity + psychology + data = win. Any person can look at website copy and design/UX and say this is awful, but a great CRO should be able to articulate exactly what isn't working, what could be better and why.
