HR Business Partner (Senior Manager/ Associate Director)

We are looking for a customer-centered HR Business Partner who will front and lead our Singapore HR team in partnering with leaders, based in Singapore, to enable ZALORA to be the best place to work.

What you will achieve?

 

  • Report directly to HR Director, and will be empowered to execute or improve practical and high-value initiatives for the departments the incumbent is assigned to.
  • Works closely with employees at all levels to - builds trust through delivery and partnership.
  • Acts as a strategic partner, coach, change agent and employee advocate to provide leadership on all Human Resource initiatives in the assigned functions.
  • Work closely with managers to develop their competence - support them with the appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people's performance and development.
  • In addition to addressing complex employee relations matters you will advise on annual compensation and promotion cycles as well as talent management, organisational development and performance management issues.
  • Recruit the most suitable talents,
  • Execute and improve regional and local HR initiatives,
  • Provide counsel on HR policies, and manpower legislation,
  • Work on local projects to contribute either at country or regional level.
  • Work with managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.
  • Work with HR operations team to ensure HR process rigor. 

 

Ideal candidate

 

  • At least 6-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years as a HR generalist / HR Business Partner
  • Ability to partner with senior leader and influence decisions to achieve results
  • Business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous situations and multi tasks
  • Energetic with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing, rapid-growth and fun environment 
  • Experience managing, and leading team will be an added plus.
