Process Improvement Manager

ZALORA is looking for a talented Process Improvement Manager who supports the Director of Business Excellence to develop and implement process custodian in ZALORA across the Southeast Asia region. This is a growing business that requires someone exceptional at Process Improvement who can thrive in an evolving environment and be part of the team that shapes change. This role will provide new challenges as we are undergoing exciting changes across our business. The role is based in our Singapore office.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a process custodian function in Zalora. Work with departments to map processes and document SOPs
  • Conduct Process audits and work with stakeholders to identify improvement areas
  • Responsible for completion of process improvement projects within a specified time frame while achieving a cost reduction goal
  • Facilitate process improvement trainings to various audiences in Zalora
  • Evaluate process improvement methodologies used by the business excellence team and develop new methodologies based on management demand
  • Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives
  • Coordinate communication activities and market the process and results by publicizing goals, plans, progress and results
     

Requirements:

  • Experience in running Process Mapping workshops and documenting process maps / SOPs
  • Experience in process improvement, leading projects with a record of successful implementation, ideally proven process improvement certification
  • Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written.
  • Teaching / Training facilitation experience is an advantage
  • Can influence others without being in a line management function - Proven leadership skills 
  • Broad strategic thinker, with good problem solving/analysis skills 
  • Change management knowledge and practical experience as well as general project management skills
  • Works well in team environment, but can also take ownership to drive success within areas of responsibility 
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with other leaders on sensitive and/or emotional issues
