GFG - Corporate Responsibility Manager

GFG is looking for a talented, customer focused Corporate Responsibility Manager to drive the support the development and implementation of the Corporate Responsibility (CR) and Sustainability strategies, and to deliver on processes working closely with our fast growing regional teams. In this position, you will partner with various leaders in Global Fashion Group to develop and execute CR and Sustainability strategies; support regional teams take ownership on delivering results,and building the organization’s sustainability culture and more. You will be also responsible for driving CR projects and initiatives across company and region, including the development of the company’s CR and Sustainability reports.  In this role, you will be able to have great opportunities for developing your CR and Sustainability specialties, with wide aspect of CR activities in a fast paced and innovative environment.

As a CR Manager, you will be required to interface effectively with professionals at all levels. You will demonstrate your excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and planning ability, strong business acumen, and the agility to function in growing organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Group’s Head of Corporate Responsibility in delivering the company’s sustainability strategy.  
  • Contributing to the on-going development of the company's Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Strategy, providing insight, advice and solutions for addressing key challenges.
  • Managing the development of organisation's Corporate Responsibility Performance Summaries and participate in the development of the company's Annual Report
  • Developing content and narrative for all sustainability related communications
  • Support the organisation by managing specific Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability projects, setting KPI’s and providing guidance and support to the different operating regions of the business.  
  • Championing corporate responsibility within the organisation
  • Reporting to and managing relationships with specific investors

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, Business Management or related field.  
  • At least 5 years experience working in corporate responsibility and/or sustainability related areas.
  • Excellent reporting and project management skills.
  • Solid experience on Corporate Resposnibility and Sustainability Reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, UNGP, CDP, DJSI)
  • Good knowledge of factory audits and remediation processes (e.g. SMETA, SA8000)
  • Gravitas and experience in engaging and influencing key stakeholders to drive forward values-based business opportunities
  • A dynamic and problem solving approach with commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to lead workshops and employee engagement programmes across all levels within the organisation
