HR Executive

ZALORA is looking for a HR Executive to be based in our Hong Kong office at Causeway Bay. You will be supporting the day-to-day operations for HR which includes but not limited to full spectrum of recruitment, payroll administration, HR data administration, employee p-file management etc. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with 1-2 years prior working experience in HR & possess good knowledge of Hong Kong labour ordinance.
Hong Kongese applicants are preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for full spectrum of HR related functions including but not limited to recruitment, payroll, taxation, on/off-boarding, expatriate management, staff relations, etc for both Hong Kong & Guangzhou office.
  • Maintain the employee record and database in HRIS (Oracle).
  • Draft employment documents including contracts, amendment letters, termination letters, probation letters and reference letters
  • Work closely with both Hong Kong & Guangzhou payroll vendor for monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary payment and other related statutory payments & submission.
  • Assist in annual performance review process
  • Prepare monthly HR reports and update organizational charts and other decks as requested
  • Administer the benefits such as medical insurance for employees
  • Lead the Z-Happiness Team to plan and arrange office events for Hong Kong and Guangzhou office.
  • Manage the employment visa process for employees when necessary.
  • Support any other office administrative tasks as required

 

Requirements:

 

  •  Degree holder in HRM, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • 1-2 years working experience in HR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese &
  • Mandarin)
  • Familiar with HK Labour Ordinance
  • Knowledge in China Labour Law is an advantage
  • Well-organized, self-motivated and a good team player
  • Detail-oriented, multi-tasking and able to work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing and HRMS
