Manager- Fulfillment Hub (Production/Manufacturing Experience Preferred)

We are looking for a detail and process-oriented person with strong leadership skills to manage, drive improvements and strategic objectives within ZALORA Outbound Department that is in charge of order fulfilment from the time the order is placed to the time the order leaves the WH. Reporting to Senior Manager of Fulfillment Center, this role is based in ZALORA Malaysia Fulfillment Center at Shah Alam, Section 23, Malaysia. In this role you will manage (1) fulfillment performance including delivery lead time, productivity and quality, (2) improvement in all the above, (3) building strong team and culture, (4) strategic projects like enhanced the value further to our customers. On time fulfilment is the key to ZALORA’s customers.

 

Candidate should display remarkable hunger, drive, and an ability to learn on the job; interest for building strong foundations with a hands-on attitude to get things done and meet short deadlines; excellent multi-tasking and strong communication skills to coordinate between departments, especially in simplifying and explaining complex concepts; very good attention to details and comfort with managing quality; and willing to work in a fast-paced constantly changing and collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage outbound KPIs
  • Manage, lead, recruit, develop, mentor and motivate the team
  • Develop lean and kaizen culture in the team
  • Work with broad cross-functional teams that include head of departments across projects with very broad scope with the ability to lead and influence discovery discussions
  • Sustain and upkeep 5S
  • Drive and implement sustainable Kaizen - continuous improvements
  • Perform problem solving - A3, Fishbone, GSTD
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in any field. Preferably in a relevant field
  • At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field managing a sizeable team. Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Exposure to lean or six sigma is preferred
  • Possess a strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • An excellent team player and leader
  • Ability to motivate, lead and drive the team to improve and deliver results
