HR Executive - Foreign Worker & Employee Engagement


  • Work closely with Foreign Worker agencies and manage the selection, assimilation, exit of foreign workers.
  • Work closely with the functional head within the warehouse to manage their manpower need.
  • Responsible for the welfare of warehouse staff including but not limited to team building organization, meal arrangement etc.
  • Work closely with the HR team (HQ) and roll-out initiatives that are applicable to the agencies’ workers.
  • Assist in the recruitment for warehouse and building of talent pipeline.
  • Generate relevant reports on all matters related to the foreign worker as and when required.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all foreign worker related matters (contract, workers’ passport and visa cop, attendance sheet, OT sheet etc).
  • Maintain and ensure all the relevant database and system are updated in a timely manner.
  • To frequently audit workers’ accommodations provided by agencies to ensure all accommodations comply to ZALORA /RBA standards.
  • Act as the point of contact regarding labor legislation issues e.g. local authorities and governing bodies.
  • Understand and executing staffing requisition according to business plan, requirements and issues from all departments.
  • Handling all foreign workers inquiries and grievances. This should be done through frequent interviews pertaining to the well being of the workers. 
  • Sourcing of new manpower partners as and when required.
  • Conduct due diligence and ensure all manpower agencies comply with the ZALORA standard.
  • Maintain rapport with the manpower partners. 
  • Assist in negotiating the terms and conditions for service renewal with the Manpower partners.
  • Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of prior working experience in related field – employee engagement & foreign worker related matters
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Possess strong communication skill and be able to manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experienced in Employment Act, IR Act and other local HR practices are preferred.
  • Driven and proactively resolve matters
  • Possess own transport is a plus.
