Lean Manager


We are looking for a driven and analytical candidate to join our Operation team to lead and design the lean management goal and strategy for improving the operations and processes for the cluster- Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The successful candidate will be reporting to Operations Director and expected to manage all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement by employing Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives.  This position is based at Shah Alam, Malaysia.



  • Collaborate with Operations Manager to develop plans and executing them ensuring continuous improvement projects and daily operations are in place
  • Facilitates improvements in operating performance through fundamental rethinking and redesign of core processes utilizing Lean methodologies and recommends changes or improvements based on study results
  • Works directly with employees, supervisors, and management to implement and maintain process improvement
  • Lead efforts to create a sustainable continuous improvement culture at the warehouse
  • Propagate the use of best practices and support the implementation of best practices at the warehouse
  • Lead the training/mentoring of Lean Sigma methodologies for site continuous improvement efforts
  • Creates a working environment that promotes positive employee attitudes, effective communications, trust, collaboration, creativity and optimal productivity
  • Work with broad cross-functional teams that include head of departments across projects with very broad scope with the ability to lead and influence discovery discussions



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Management with minimum 3 years of working experience or related field or equivalent experience in Warehousing/ Logistic/ Manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrates mastery of Lean & Six Sigma concepts
  • Well versed with Kaizen and Lean concept
  • Have track record employing Lean or Six Sigma methodology in projects
  • Strong analytical skills as well as ability to liaise amongst multiple business units and stakeholders, priorities competing interests and enforce deadlines
