Junior Finance Executive

The Junior Finance Executive is responsible for the generation of Consignor’s Sales Summary Reports. S/he will work closely and effectively with the Sales and Revenue Accountant and Accounts Payable team to ensure timely and accurate submission of report for payment to supplier preparation. This position requires a customer oriented, proactive, problem solver who will be able to work without much supervision. The Junior Finance Executive will be reporting to the Sales and Revenue Accountant and the Finance Manager. The role will be based in BGC, Taguig City.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate and on time processing of monthly CSSR (Consignor’s Sales Summary Report).
  • Responsible for preparation of Sales adjustments such as Debit Memo and Credit Memo.
  • Responsible for receiving and countering of valid Sales Invoices from suppliers and monitoring of due dates for payment.
  • Responsible for receiving employee liquidations and initial checking before forwarding to AP Non-Trade team.
  • Interacts with buying team and customer service team to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns or requests about consignment services.
  • Reconciliation of Bank Transfer payments.
  • Monitor and Invoice Monthly Starmall Sales and Partnerships Billing from Marketing
  • Supervise and interact closely with different teams as well as continuous follow up with on-boarding.
  • Ensure that the Invoice Due Date Tracker, Credit Memo Tracker, Manual Debit Memo Tracker, Employee Liquidation and GC Billing Tracker are always accurate and updated in a timely manner.
  • Ensure consistency in process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Commerce or any related field.
  • At least 1 year experience in a related field.
  • Previous experience in inventory management/reconciliation a plus.
  • Verbal and written communication in English up to a business standard.
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of basic software applications and familiarity with the Internet and email communications.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must excel at multi-tasking and be detail-oriented.
  • Must possess initiative and a keen sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and tasks.
